The only downside for me was that our room had no windows. Otherwise, I loved the Tug Valley Inn. The building is beautiful, clean, and smells nice when you walk in. The owners were fun, friendly, and accommodating, and even shared a few drinks with us. Our spotless room had a really comfortable bed, soft sheets, and thick, fluffy towels. Breakfast the next morning was good too. They clearly care about what they do. I’d recommend the place and would stay again if I’m in the area.

My boyfriend’s Momma passed away, and our family needed five rooms. The owners were wonderful and the place suited us perfectly. On Saturday, we had an excellent country breakfast with homemade gravy and biscuits, my favorite. Sunday’s pancakes were delicious too. I usually don’t care for B&Bs, but I’ll stay here every time I come home now. Thanks for the comfortable, clean place and kind hospitality. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable and clean.

The staff, especially the friendly woman, deserve the four stars. I can’t say the same for the accommodations. The room looked nice but had no windows, and there was an acrylic nail by the bed. The breakfast wasn’t what the site advertised, just dry items laid out; when I went down, the English muffins were moldy. Black hairs covered the blanket under the comforter. We left after one night and got a refund, which is another reason I gave four stars. The town seemed very depressed. I probably wouldn’t return, though I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend it. Just know what to expect. Wonderful staff.

Kathy, the owner, was wonderful, and I had a great stay in this beautiful place. The room was cozy, comfortable, and spacious, with good Wi-Fi. I had full use of the kitchen, though I only used the microwave. My one complaint is the weak shower pressure, which matters a lot when you travel like I do. I loved the stay overall and would come back many times.

We had the whole house to ourselves for two days. The owner couldn’t cook breakfast because of hip issues, but there was still a good selection. I had a great weekend, and the rooms stayed warm on those cold nights. The beds were super soft.
