Bouchard Inn & Restaurant

The inn is charming, with parking and a perfect spot to stay. Last summer, my partner and I visited for a special anniversary weekend, and the staff greeted us with champagne and a lovely card. I'm gluten free, and they made us a fresh GF breakfast. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Being able to walk easily to shops, restaurants, and the elms made this such a great location. Our clean, comfortable room had a fridge they stocked every day with free water, orange juice, and milk, a small touch that made the day nicer. In the morning, fresh pastry and yogurt were delivered, and we woke up excited to see the pastry of the day. One of my favorite hotel stays, and I'd recommend it to anyone. It's the best!

The inn is lovely, but this spot is LOUD. Street noise and Obrien's Irish Bar next door were deafening, so don't expect much sleep. We're Rhode Islanders and visit Newport for a weekend a couple of times a year.

Carmen was friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was a real treat, especially the pastry and yogurt. The room price also included a coffee maker, juice, and milk. We stayed in the ribbon room, which was spacious, with a king-size bed and a cute bathroom. It sits at the front of the inn, so you hear the nightlife, but we slept fine. There's a sound machine if needed, and the AC muffled the noise well. We loved the Bouchard Inn: clean rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect location for starting a shopping trip. I'd definitely stay again any time of year.
