We had parking and an easy overnight in the heart of the “happening” area, which left us more time to explore Newport. Fair Street B&B was charming throughout, from the well-kept gardens to the sitting spot among mature trees and rose bushes. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and thoughtfully put together. Denise is a wonderful inn keeper who pays attention to the small things that make a stay feel special. Thanks, Denise. We’re looking forward to returning to Newport and staying at the Fair Street again.

Denise was lovely, and her cooking was amazing. Fair Street B&B was clean and well cared for, right in the heart of Midtown Newport, with pretty much everything within walking distance. We had a great stay.

The steep stairs were a safety issue for me, not just uncomfortable or inconvenient. I’d told them when registering that I couldn’t climb stairs, but there were 10 very steep steps just to enter the privately run four-bedroom guest house. I nearly couldn’t make it to my room, which meant climbing another full flight of at least 20 steps. That access information needs to be included in the marketing materials, especially since they ask guests about this when they register.

Denise made breakfast to order, and it was delicious. We stayed two nights in room B, which was just the right size for us. The B&B is quaint and cozy, immaculately clean, and welcoming. We had a fabulous stay, and I’ll recommend it to anyone visiting Newport. I’ll be back myself!

Denise’s cooking was so good I’m still recovering from breakfast! She made us feel completely at home, and we had an incredible time at your hotel. Thanks for sharing your house, your humor, and such wonderful hospitality. You were perfect hosts, and made our visit to New Port amazing.
