The Lodges at Eden Reserve

The location is great for the ark, and the safari tent had all the little touches that made the trip easy. It was clean and comfortable, just what I expected and more. The noise from 75 and the helicopter was a bit much, though. I’d recommend it, with the caveat that you may hear that noise.

We really enjoyed having room to fellowship on the grounds, and the cabins were much better than a hotel. The location is ideal for tourists, just one exit from the Ark Encounter. They’re fully equipped: shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers; a washer and dryer with detergent; dishwasher; pots, pans, plates, and silverware. There’s even a bin under the sink with things guests might have forgotten, like toothbrushes and toothpaste. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, definitely not cheap hotel beds. The highway is close enough that you can hear it all night, and the medi-vac helicopter next door was noticeable. It took off and returned on two of the three nights we stayed. Even with that, I highly recommend the cabins.

For our large family, the two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin was a great fit. It was modern, well stocked, and nicely decorated, and free firewood was a big bonus. The property is beautiful, and being so close to the Ark makes it ideal for anyone visiting the Ark Encounter. The Lodges at Eden Reserve are a real gem. We’ll definitely be back.

We stayed warm even through a snow storm, and the place was clean, well furnished, and had everything we needed. It was the cutest place to stay while visiting The Ark. The service was excellent. Communication was easy, replies came extremely quickly, and everyone was very kind throughout. If we’re back in the area, we’ll stay here again, even if we have to drive a bit.
