Red Roof Inn Conroe North - Willis

The photos from my stay last night tell the story. There was no shower head, stains covered the mattress, bedspread, and sheets, and the microwave looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month. I wiped the bathroom sink, tub, and dresser top with one of their rags, and it came away black. The outside looks nice, but this place is an embarrassment to the Red roof name. I’d rather sleep in my pickup truck. It needs to be shut down.

The room was a no from the moment I walked in: trash on the floor, stains on the bed, and food smeared across the coffee table. I picked the place because it was close to where I needed to be, but I definitely wasn’t staying. I asked for my money back and they refused. After that response, I changed my rating to one star because there wasn’t an option for zero.

The website photos were misleading. Inside, there was trash from the previous guest, hair, dust, soiled towels, and roaches. The security lock didn’t work either, so the room failed basic cleanliness and safety. I gave it one star for at least having a roof that kept us out of the rain.

The AC barely worked, so it was hot all night, and the door didn’t lock properly. When we came in, the inside lock had fallen right off. We paid 68 for the night plus a 50 deposit for a nasty motel. They called it a nice hotel, but I could’ve paid for a cheap motel and gotten the same service. There were only two tiny towels for five people, and they wouldn’t give us more when we asked. Between the sticky floors, rude customer service, and overpriced trash, I won’t stay here again.
