Edgewood Motel

The man at the front desk was pleasant, which was the one good part of the stay. The bed seemed to have been slept in and then just made up; the floors were so dirty they left our socks grimy. There was garbage in the dresser drawers, the sink was clearly dirty, and the shower smelled like pee with mold on the curtain. The $77 wasn't worth it. We had sleeping bags and used them instead of the linens. The owners don't seem to care about keeping the place clean or providing a decent place to sleep. You'd be better off in your car.

The sheets were some of the softest I've ever slept on, and the bed made this stay worth it on its own. I had one of the best night's sleep I've had in ages, not just while traveling. The rooms are dated and the exterior leaves a lot to be desired, but everything was clean. Don't let the oddly colored comforter put you off. I'd recommend this to a friend and would absolutely stay again.

If all you need is a cheap place to sleep, this might do. The old style motel has been refurbished, but not especially well. The full sized beds were small and really uncomfortable, and the pillows were so thin I slept better without one. For a comfortable bed and nicer room, I'd choose somewhere else.

The bed was firm and comfortable, which was the bright spot. The room smelled like smoke masked with cleaning solution, the bathroom pocket door had no obvious way to open it, and the air conditioner ran noisily all night. At $99, it was overpriced.
