The lighting is almost nonexistent, and at night the place is dark and scary. Rooms are boarded up, the grounds aren’t maintained, and weeds are growing in one of the pools. The other pool is being used for furniture storage. At least half the hotel is occupied as low-income housing, and only a handful of rooms have been remodeled. The photos the hotel posts of the grounds look at least 15 years old. I’ve posted current pictures showing what a dump it is. They’ve changed the name a few times, apparently to fool people, and also go by Golden Pheasant Inn. The hotel is behind or beside a Mexican restaurant that’s part of the complex. They have the nerve to charge as much as decent hotels next door and across the street. Maybe it’s a front for money laundering? Any review giving this place more than one star is phony. Beware.
