Hilton Garden Inn Wilmington Mayfaire Town Center

We've always liked this hotel for its cleanliness and location when visiting Wilmington. This time, Te’Ara at the front desk went out of her way to help install my grandbaby’s car seat in our rental. Noah poured me milk in a cup when they were out of the small containers for purchase, and Sherry the bartender gave impeccable service. These three are outstanding, and Hilton is lucky to have them. Their extra care is what got me to leave a review. Thanks so much, Te’Ara, Noah, and Sherry. You make us want to come back even more.

I spent four nights here and had a wonderful stay. My room was clean and spacious, the location was excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I'll stay here whenever I'm visiting ILM from now on.

Sherry made the bar a highlight of our visit. She mixed great cocktails and had such a fun conversation with us. We had a really good experience and will be back as long as she's working the bar.

The employees were friendly, though they weren't always paying attention. During my stay, the breakfast hot water urn wasn't hot, and I think the coffee urn was empty a couple of times. The food itself was good and reasonably priced for a hotel breakfast. This is also the only Hilton I've stayed at where the front desk staff just stared when I asked if they could arrange a taxi to the airport. The hotel needs refurbishment. Bathroom fixtures were tarnished, the furniture was discolored, and the bed had a broken spring that made noise whenever I sat down. The bathroom corners weren't as clean as the sink and tub, though the sheets and towels were clean.
