Evan and his team put together a fantastic day of fishing for our large bachelor party. Our group included guys with a wide range of fly fishing experience, from lots to none, and the guides met everyone where they were at. We fished private water, with coffee, a grilled lunch, and a fire pit to hang out by. We had a really great day on the water. I couldn't recommend this outfit enough, especially for large groups.

Brandon from The Hungry Trout fly shop guided us on a fly fishing trip today, and we had the best time. If you're after a good day on the Adirondack rivers, don't hesitate to book with these folks. 🎣

Reed put us onto some fish at a quiet spot a little way from the shop, even though our half-day wade trip with The Hungry Trout fell on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Communication beforehand was clear, the instruction along the way was helpful, and the conversation was nice. We had a great trip and would book with Reed again.

They have everything you need, including anything you may have forgotten, and the crew is top notch. When fishing the West Branch of the Ausable River, this is the place to go. Their knowledge of what's happening and where you want to be is exactly what you need for a good trip.

A great little fly shop with knowledgeable staff. I booked a guide trip for the Au Sable, and the guide was great. We got into fish right away.
