Comfort Suites Wilson I-95

The bed was comfortable and the room was big, with a couch, chair, desk, mini fridge, and coffee maker. It was clean apart from the toilet bowl, and the lobby was clean with a spacious dining area. The hotel is right off I95 with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The entry door was banged up, the bathroom walls had patches, and the dated furniture was pretty battered. The rooms look old and need updating, though mine was pretty clean.

Brianna, our host, showed us a lot of hospitality, and we noticed the same from other guests. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was fresh, with a small hot bar and different drinks. The hotel is in a good area, on a strip with everything from restaurants to shopping. Would highly recommend, especially if you're a trucker!

The location was alright, but the place could use upgrades. Sometimes it smelled like weed, and the air felt stale, especially in the elevator. We asked for cleaning once during our several-day stay, but the room didn't get cleaned. Paint on the windows blocked the view, and the lamps had an annoyingly bright light. I'm not too sure they change the bed blankets all the time. The people working there were kind and greeted us in the morning. Breakfast wasn't that good and could've had more options. It's not good and not bad, maybe a 4.5/10.

We had several problems at the Comfort Suites in Wilson off Raleigh rd. They said the beds were queen size, but they were full size, and two adults can't sleep in one bed. They kept insisting they were queens, as if I didn't know what I was talking about. The remote looked like something from the 90s and was meant to turn on a Google TV, but it didn't work. They couldn't find the TV remote. We tried calling the front desk from the room phone about the TV, but it didn't work either. It turned out none of the phones in the rooms worked, which I think is a risk if you can't call 911 when something happens. When I went downstairs, they apologized for the inconvenience and said the manager would email me and reimburse me. I never got an email, so I called to speak with the manager a couple of days ago. She was rude and still insisted the beds were queen size. They weren't. She said there was nothing she could do and no reimbursement. I'll never stay there again. Worst money and time I spent. I did call the CO of comfort Suites to report it, so hopefully something will be done, especially about the phones.
