I really liked using the Hilton App during my stay. It worked smoothly for the virtual key and for checking in and out, so I didn’t have to go to the front desk at all. That made things very convenient. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and tasty, a good value with the room, though it was a standard hotel breakfast rather than gourmet. The clean, basic room had what I needed for a comfortable night. My one real frustration was the blackout shade, which wouldn’t come all the way down. I prefer a completely dark room for sleeping. It was a smooth, positive stay at the Hampton Inn in Wilson, NC. I’d recommend it if you want a reliable place with convenient tech.

We felt safe in the quiet surroundings and the hotel was convenient to our son’s home for a Thanksgiving visit. The hotel has been recently renovated and was very nice. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful when I’d forgotten my toothbrush, and the breakfast staff greeted us. Breakfast was above average for a complimentary hotel meal, and the area was well stocked. We’d stay again.

Lillian at the front desk was especially helpful during check-in, and she communicated with me really well through the Hilton app. The staff were fantastic overall. We had a great king room on the first floor at this nice hotel in downtown Wilson, NC. The room felt very dark, though. It could use better lighting.

The location was perfect, close to shopping and restaurants, with some places even within walking distance. Our room was very nice and clean. We were just passing through for one night, but slept well and enjoyed the yummy breakfast.

The room was unbearably hot, around 80 degrees, and the temperature wouldn’t come down. At 3 a.m. the front desk wasn’t answering, and I got no response through the app chat either. I got dressed and went to the lobby, but couldn’t find anyone working there. It’s 4 a.m. now and I’m still trying to find someone to fix the temperature while my family sweats in their sleep. Don’t stay here.
