My fiancé and I stayed for over a month, and the price we were quoted wasn’t what we ended up paying. We were told our room would be $225 a week, then found out rooms have different rates and ours was $250. We paid $900 for the first month and were told that was a discount for paying monthly. The room and bathroom were filthy. The sheet between the bed and box spring was dirty, and so were the tub, toilet, and sink. They said they weren’t responsible for cleaning rooms and there was no room service. I could tell the place was a dump just by looking at it. We also had a loud neighbor who would fight and argue with his fiancé. We complained several times, but nothing was done. It seems like they have favorites. This place is unsanitary and should be shut down, or condemned. The owners are money hungry and don’t care about their tenants.

We were in a tough spot after moving from out of state and spent a week searching for pet-friendly housing, with a $500 hotel bill for just a few days along the way. My husband and I are professionals with college degrees and young children, and we never imagined needing this kind of lodging. We were relieved to find Crest Inn. Compared with the other places we looked at between Saratoga and Warrensburg, it was far better for what it is, a place for people in transition. We got a cottage with a large bathroom, a brand new mattress and box spring, and a new AC unit. You do need to bring your own bedding, towels, and toiletries. I’m a germaphobe nurse, so I gave the place a quick bleach clean, and it was fine. In fact, there wasn’t that much dirt or much to clean in the first place. The property managers were fantastic, and it was quiet and peaceful overall.

The plumbing is badly done, and there are lots of big bugs and mosquitoes, plus sewer flies all the time. I stayed for two weeks and the room was never cleaned. I had to ask for towels, and was told they don’t provide toilet paper when you run out. Save yourself the money and don’t stay here.

The outside doesn’t look great, but there are new owners now, and they’ve been nice and taken care of everything I needed. When you have nowhere else to go, this place is good enough for me. If you’re staying for a long time, of course you’ll need to clean and bring your own supplies.

A health hazard, and I wouldn’t tell friends to come here. It’s been shut down numerous times. The owners are stingy and rude, and the rooms need a lot of work.
