The cottage gave us exactly what we needed for a Christmas-to-New-Year's staycation: it was warm, clean, and roomy enough to spend time in, not just sleep. The staff were lovely, our room was cleaned every day, and that little snack bar was a hit. We usually go to Montauk, but being near Sag Harbor made it easy to explore the other Hampton towns in the off season. I’d heard the hotel had recently been renovated, and the location sounded appealing. The property is beautiful, and the pool out back looks lovely. We’d like to return in summer, and say hi to the cutest lobby cat again.

The breakfast bar has fantastic choices, and the staff are always warm and ready to help. They even brought us a water bowl for our dog and took care of every request. We come to the Sagaponak each Christmas holiday, and the bungalows keep us coming back: cozy, comfortable, well equipped, and very well maintained. We’ll be back next year too.

The price was great, and I’d stay again. There’s a nice coffee bar, though there isn’t a public spot to sit with coffee or a snack outside your room. That could make a motel room or cottage more convenient. The place has charm and the rooms are lovely, with thoughtful touches. The satellite TV was tricky to operate, and finding shows was hard.

It was quiet, with parking close by, and an easy drive to the shoreline sights. The room had lots of space and character, and the in-room hot tub was a favorite. We also loved the shared kitchen area, especially the snacks and breakfast.

We both loved this gift stay. The room’s décor was beautiful, and finding a jacuzzi in there was a fun surprise. The free snacks in the main inn were a welcoming little extra. Everyone at the inn was kind and caring, and we felt comfortable and looked after the whole time. There were a few random loud noises at night, though we know other guests were around. Also, no microwave, which was a problem when we got caught in a snowstorm with food to warm up. We’d happily stay again.
