The stay itself had too many problems, and I won't come back even though this is the closest hotel to my customer. I usually let this kind of thing go as part of the job, but this time I had to write about it. After the second day, housekeeping still hadn't made the bed, picked up the trash, or brought towels. I went to the front desk after 5 p.m. to get the trash taken away and fresh towels. Breakfast wasn't appealing; I saw no regular coffee creamer, just flavored creamer or 2% milk, and the food looked inedible to me. The biggest issue was a $75 early checkout fee. My work plans can change, and nobody mentioned the charge at check-in or when I checked out. I've been a loyal IHG Diamond member and had never heard of this policy. The hotel called it corporate policy, though I've never encountered it at another corporate hotel. It took four calls to the manager and two to IHG to get the fee removed, and even then it was an argument. Now my IHG account shows zero points for the stay and calls it unqualified. Is that because I checked out early? Between that and everything else, I'll drive farther next time. I hope this was worth making my stay so regrettable that I won't stay here again.

The rooms were clean, and this was one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at. Staff were pleasant, especially Maria in the breakfast area. She went out of her way to make sure we got what we wanted. We were good to go.

Maria kept breakfast delicious, tidy, and well stocked. She, Brianna, and the rest of the staff were kind and friendly, and everything was kept clean. We had such an enjoyable stay and will be back. Thank you!

Jennifer Marcus made my late arrival feel personal and welcoming. She came right out to help and checked me in with so much warmth that it didn't feel like a tired, routine end-of-shift exchange. Her kindness set the tone for my stay and made me want to return. I wanted her to get recognition because she's a real asset here. I travel for work and spend a lot of time in hotels, so I've had plenty of front desk check-ins over the years. Late-night arrivals are usually quick and routine, which is why this one stood out so much.

The whole hotel was clean and quiet, and the rooms were clean too. At check-in, Wendy at the front reception desk was a delight. We laughed and had a good conversation, and she even came to fix the air conditioner in my room. I'll definitely come back.
