Our king room had a high, soft bed, heated bathroom tiles, a large claw foot tub, a separate shower, and plenty of sitting space. There were also roomy common areas. The house has been updated without losing its old fashioned charm, and it has a lot of history. Breakfast was a lovely mix of fruit, homemade breads, maple spreads, and more. This was my first B&B stay in Vermont, and I enjoyed it so much it'll be hard to beat.

Breakfast had plenty of options, from local preserves, fruit, oatmeal, organic yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, bagels, waffles, toast, and cereal. The room was spacious and impressively clean, with a big comfortable bed, fresh plush bedding, and a heated bathroom floor. It felt cozy, warm, bright, and sunny, and was better than I expected. I'd love to stay again. The town shuts down early, so get dinner before 8.

Dominique and the other local women who run the inn welcomed us warmly and proudly showed us the rooms. My husband and I stayed one night in this lovely old place, once owned by publisher Maxwell Perkins, who published Hemingway and Fitzgerald. It became an inn in 2007 and has nine bedrooms. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had an en suite bath. The library and dining room were lovely, and everything was sparkling clean. We enjoyed hot, freshly made chocolate chip cookies and a substantial breakfast. The Artisan Plaza is close by and worth a visit. I highly recommend the inn.

I've been back a few times and love the Snapdragon. The library, beautiful yard, and Hemingway books and quotes all add to the first class feel. The rooms are gorgeous, especially the ones with big tubs. A+++

On an impromptu drive from Southern NH to Windsor, my wife and I planned to visit local sights, Harpoon, and the Artisan Village. Staying at Snapdraggon made the trip even better. The inn was well maintained, with spacious, tidy rooms and the nice extra of heated bathroom floors. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and waffle batter ready to cook. I'd have no hesitation recommending The Snapdragon to friends.
