Bromley View Inn

Erin had great suggestions for places to go, and everyone on staff was terrific. The other guests were really friendly too. I stayed for two nights and loved having my own private hot tub in such a charming place. Breakfast was delicious. I’d recommend it without hesitation, ten stars from me.

The room was filthy. We found half-eaten PB&J uncrustables under the beds and old silverware with food stuck to it behind the mini fridge. I paid $250 a night, and when I raised these issues with management, I got no compensation or partial refund. I was rudely told she was busy with breakfast and couldn’t deal with it right then. The hot tub, one of the main selling points, smelled like an old gym bag. There was hair and bandaids floating in it, and black ice all around it. I slipped and fell on the ice getting out. I now have a severe respiratory infection. The mini fridge in our room was set to maximum, but after I left a $60 meal from Mulligans at Stratton resort in it overnight, it was about 70° and full of condensation in the morning. My expensive leftovers were ruined, and I’d been looking forward to them. I’ve never encountered a place so decrepit and poorly maintained in my life. Don’t ruin your family vacation here. This place feels like a lawsuit waiting to happen, and they’re lucky it isn’t coming from me.

The advertised fire pits and jacuzzis couldn’t be used because the snow hadn’t been cleared, which was a real disappointment. The place itself was clean, the beds were good, and it was fair value. Staff were working hard to look after a lot of people. But if unruly, undisciplined kids and their entitled parents are a trigger for you, you should probably find somewhere else to stay.

The quiet, relaxing feel of the place was a big part of what we loved, along with all its cozy charm. Breakfast was continental, simple and fresh, and a great way to start the day. Erin was so welcoming, kind, and easy to talk to. It felt like chatting with an old friend, even though we’d just met. My partner and I spent three nights at the Bromley View Inn and absolutely loved it. The inn was clean and cozy, and the mountain view made for such a peaceful, beautiful setting. We can’t wait to return.
