Winnsboro is such a sweet town, and we felt at home during our stay at Oaklea Mansion. The owner was incredibly kind, helped us get settled, and suggested places to eat nearby. We had a great time. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We came for the special Valentine dinner. It was very nice, and the food was good, though it wasn’t hot. We didn’t stay overnight.

The Grand Suite has lovely antique furnishings and chandeliers. There’s plenty of storage, and the bed is very tall but comfortable. The huge tub is nice for bathing, though there’s no shower. We enjoyed the breakfast both mornings, it was very good.

We joined an open house tour during the holidays but didn’t stay overnight. Everyone was extremely nice, and seeing and hearing about the history was interesting.

We got a room at short notice and were so glad we did. The Little Cathedral Room was incredibly quiet, even though the house is on a main street in this small town. Inside, it’s elegant and beautifully furnished with antiques. I’m looking forward to another getaway here.
