The complimentary breakfast had plenty to choose from, from waffles and bacon to yogurt and fruit. If several tour buses are outside, it may be worth eating before 8am, since the hotel seems popular with Disney groups. Even so, staff handled everyone well. I was there for a meeting and liked the spacious room with WiFi, as well as the large, clean guest rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. The building looks new, and the lobby has high ceilings and a pleasant seating area. Both the regular bar and pool bar are attractive and comfortable, with marble floors and counters and high-top seats. Prices were affordable, and the staff were kind and friendly. I look forward to coming back.

We spent our days at Disney and were able to get tickets in the hotel lobby from a woman who knew the parks and gave us helpful advice. She told me about rides she enjoyed, and since she was around my age, I decided my scared self could try them. I ended up riding roller-coasters and had the time of my life! Disney is about a 10-15 minute drive away. Across the street is Flamingo Crossing, with Target, drug stores, restaurants, a nail salon, and pretty much anything else close by. Hotel staff were lovely, and the place has a restaurant, bar, canteen store, outdoor pool, grills, a fire pit, and lots of seating. We were there in February and didn’t use the pool because the evenings were cool. The rooms were clean and roomy, with a large bed, pullout sofa, and kitchenette stocked with dishes and utensils. The bathroom had shampoo and lotion, and you can get a toothbrush at the front desk. Coffee and tea are free in the lobby all day. There’s a shuttle to Disney, but we missed signing up and took Uber instead. Catching rides or taxis was easy, around $30 each way; drivers wait at Disney for fares. Most things were great. The one thing my achy body needed after long park days was lasting comfort, but the bed got uncomfortable after a while, and there’s no hot tub for a good soak. Still, I’d recommend the Homewood Suites by Hilton at Flamingo Crossing.

The furniture is the main thing I’d update. In the rooms, lobby, and breakfast area, the upholstery and table surfaces look worn and dated. Some fabric has visible stains. It may be clean, but it doesn’t look clean, which takes away from the impression. Even so, I was very happy with my January 2026 stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the soft, high quality sheets made it easy to sleep after long park days. Breakfast was very good, especially the fresh orange juice and puddings, which were so delicious I could eat them daily. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the seven-floor hotel has four elevators, so getting around was easy. There’s also a shuttle to the theme parks. The location is excellent: Target is walkable, and Flamingo Crossings Plaza is a lovely place for an early morning stroll. The pool has a fun waterslide and stays open until 10pm, a nice option after the parks. Disney is very close. My Lyft rides cost as little as $13 off peak and went up to around $28 at busy times, so timing your trip can make a difference. With updated furniture, this comfortable hotel in a fantastic location would be even better.

The breakfast bags the staff put together for our early competition morning were such a thoughtful surprise. We had to leave for ESPN before breakfast opened, and even though grab-and-go wasn’t normally available, the manager and kitchen team made sure we had water, bagels, muffins, apples, oranges, and cream cheese. I wish I’d gotten the names of the women who helped, because they really went out of their way for us. That was typical of the welcome we got at Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossing. Our room was ready early, spotless, spacious, and comfortable, and daily housekeeping kept it clean and stocked. The gym, laundry, heated pool, and in-room kitchenette were all useful, and the grounds were lovely. I picked it after weeks of looking for an affordable hotel close to Disney and ESPN Wide World of Sports Center, where my daughter had a cheer competition. We were within five miles of everything we needed, yet away from the worst traffic and waits near Disney. Shopping was across the street, and the parking garage made it easy to drive right up to our floor. Everyone we met was kind, professional, and welcoming. One of my best hotel stays in a long time, and I’d happily return.
