For the price of a week, it's not bad. Sandy and Dennis, the owners, pay attention to what guests need and sort out issues quickly. The place could use some upgrades, but they're planning to remodel soon and put on a new roof. They're fair and don't cause problems. It's actually quiet, and I haven't seen drug activity or guests loitering. A pool and ice machine would be nice, though they'll give you ice if you ask. The beds have new sheets and blankets, the sheets are professionally cleaned through a laundry service, and the towels aren't dirty anymore. They've made a lot of improvements and worked on their customer service.

The couple who came to make the bed and tidy the room were very nice and helpful. Someone had been in our room when we arrived, though, and the bed was all messed up, so we had to wait while they fixed it. The price was way too high. They tried to charge more than the phone quote, agreed later to honor the original price, and then charged us extra anyway.

Bed bugs! Stay away. This place has a bed bug infestation. I came into town exhausted and just wanted a quick nap, but woke up in the middle of the night feeling something crawling on my shoulders. I went straight to the office and asked for a refund. They refused, and I had to get a lawyer involved. They need to be shut down completely!

I've been staying here one or two nights a week for the past four years. The rooms are clean, and they've replaced the carpet with tile floors, put in new TVs, and added new beds. I feel totally safe and sleep like a baby. The owners are friendly and do their best to make your stay enjoyable.

The room itself had plenty wrong with it: the beds and linens seemed dirty, so we slept on top of the comforter, and we saw far too many roaches during one night. The AC blew hot air, making it cooler outside, and the flat screen TV didn't work. After a long trip, we had to wait for their maintenance guy to fix it. There were three of us, but only two sets of dingy white towels and washcloths. We asked for another set and got an attitude, even though they charged us for three people. They also said nobody else could stay in our room, which had two queen beds and could fit four. The bathroom sink had a mountain of roach droppings piled on it. When we pointed that out, or mentioned something wasn't working, the owner and his wife acted like we were complaining. They also got annoyed when we asked to see the room before paying. If you're running a service business, don't be rude to paying customers without good reason. People have to pay to stay, and offending them can cost you their business. These folks are in the wrong line of work. Keep the bad attitude at home.
