This is a ski resort area, and it's hard to beat if you want a small, cozy, homey place for a weekend. It has its limitations, but we enjoyed it a lot. The people are nice, and the hiking trails are really good.

The full kitchens in the rooms are handy, especially for families who eat at all hours. The condos are conveniently placed, with lots within walking distance. I've only visited in the off season, and it's still a nice time to explore. The rec center is clean and quiet, with a pool and two indoor hot tubs. There also seemed to be an outdoor hot tub, but it wasn't open in summer, probably. There's a playground beside the rec center and several walking trails.

It's easy to get around because the bus comes right through, and there are good restaurants within walking distance. The rec center is pleasant. The pool needed some maintenance while we were there, but it was open and warm again quickly. The TV was missing its remote, so we couldn't use it, but there was a pool table, air hockey, and arcade games.

We got a great rate in the off season, and our unit had everything we needed, including a kitchen. It's not luxurious, but it's very nice for the price. The place was well sealed against the weather, with none of the strong drafts I've had in other ski condos. A great base for exploring Colorado.
