The inn was really comfortable, and I liked having all those little tables and chairs on the porch and by the fence. The only small snag was the pillows, which were too soft for me. I grabbed a decorative one instead and that fixed it. I’d left my overnight bag at home, but the bathroom had all the things I needed. The snacks were great too, with lots of choices in the fridge. I had some late at night and again for breakfast.

It’s easy to walk from the Abbey Inn to the shops and restaurants. I’d gladly stay there again. Each room has its own look, and the decor feels elegant and charming. The kitchen was clean, new, and stocked with coffee, tea, breakfast food, and even ice cream. They seemed to have just about every amenity, so if you’ve forgotten something at home, they may have it. My stay was comfortable and relaxing.

For my wedding weekend, the location worked perfectly. I was the only one in my group staying here, though the wedding guests had booked across the street at the Winters Hotel or farther away at the Fairfield. The owner welcomed me personally and found me a steamer for my tux. Since the group was taking shuttles to the venue, I could meet them in under a minute. I got the best rate in town, while guests at the Winters Hotel were paying $400-$500 a night. This historic boutique hotel also had more charm and amenities, a full kitchen, and walking access to everything. There was plenty of parking and lots of good food nearby. My room was very clean, the interior design was impeccable, and the patio was a nice spot for tea or coffee. I was able to use my business travel rewards points to book it too. If you’re coming to Winters, stay here for the full experience.

We enjoyed reading about the house’s history, and the patio under the citrus trees was a lovely, quiet spot. In the morning, we made use of the full kitchen and the snacks and breakfast items provided. The owners were so helpful, offered suggestions around town, and treated us like family. Everything was a short walk away, including the amazing Buckhorn Steakhouse. The room was comfortable and had great amenities. The house was very clean and well kept, with vintage touches that made it feel homey. Such a lovely place, full of charming details. Thank you!
