The location worked really well for us, and we’d happily come back. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with a great shower. Check-in and checkout were easy, breakfast had nice options, and the price felt reasonable. The staff were amazing.

Brenda took such good care of us at the bar, and the hotel management was very accommodating. We had a birthday party in the lounge, where the atmosphere was just right. It turned into a great experience.

A heads-up if stairs are hard for you: there’s no elevator here. At 67 and with a disability, I struggled to get my luggage up one flight. The hotel itself was really nice, in a quiet area, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was less appealing: no juice, just milk, coffee, and water, plus scrambled eggs and seasoned beef for making breakfast burritos.

The covered bridges and John Wayne's birthplace and museum are close by, and the Cobblestone Inn sits right in the heart of Madison County. It’s a clean, comfortable gem, with a hot breakfast included each morning. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The room stayed cool with the A/C, and everything was spotless. I slept wonderfully on the incredibly comfortable bed, and the shower pressure was the best I’ve ever had. There’s no elevator, so anyone who’d have trouble carrying luggage upstairs should ask for a first-floor room. We had a great stay, and the location was fantastic.
