Best Western Of Wise

We came for a wedding expecting to stay two nights, but ended up driving in on the wedding day and staying just one. Glad we didn't need the second night. The place felt dirty, and there wasn't much effort to make the stay comfortable despite the friendly front desk staff. The third floor smelled like cigarettes even though the hotel is non-smoking. Our room felt damp and musty, with the air off. It seemed they leave it off to save money, but at least it could be running before guests arrive so you don't walk into a wet blanket. I mentioned the smell when we went downstairs and asked if they could use room spray or something. The receptionist said she'd look into it, but when we got back, it smelled just as bad. The carpet felt dirty, the linens were old and ratty, and the bathroom was disheveled. Breakfast was standard mid-level hotel food, though disappointing. We won't stay here next time we're in Wise.

We got stuck here during a snowstorm, and Mckyenzie made it so much better. She's incredibly friendly, helpful, and nice. Five stars for her!

We were satisfied with our stay and would definitely come back. Room 313 was clean and comfortable, apart from a couple of spots in the carpet. The one letdown was that there wasn't a mini fridge.

The breakfast was very good, and the prices seemed reasonable. Still, the pool being closed was a big disappointment. We travel on long drives and count on good food options and pool access, so if we'd known when booking, we would've chosen another hotel. The advertising felt deceptive.
