There’s no elevator up to the second floor and breakfast isn’t included. Katie's Kitchen opens at 6am, though, and has good coffee and cinnamon rolls. I recommend the meat lovers omelet there. The hotel itself is great, with a kitchen, balcony, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

The rooms are spacious and the setting is beautiful, but the kitchen was frustrating to use. There’s no ventilation, so I had to cook with the sliding door open during a snowstorm. Cleanup also took longer than necessary without a dishwasher or garbage disposal.

The indoor pool brought back memories of growing up here as a child and swimming on cold winter days. My room was tidy, clean, and nicely furnished, with a view of the golf course. A lovely place to stay in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

Service was excellent and the amenities were good. The building is old, and some floors slope, though that didn’t bother us much. It’s a very nice place, but the rooms could use a few upgrades. Anyone who doesn’t care for old buildings may not enjoy it.

The hotel is dated, but they keep it clean and the service was good. It’s in a nice spot near the lake, and having access to the yacht club is a great perk.
