Best Western Woodburn

The rooms are kept up well, and the rates and service are great. It’s handy for the highway, too. I do wish there were USB ports, and a pool and hot tub open all year would be nice.

We were here to bury our youngest daughter at a nearby family cemetery. The staff didn’t know why we had come, but they still made every interaction memorable. The breakfast ladies were especially kind and helpful, even with the language barrier. Someone looking after the pool found things for the kids to play with, and the front desk helped with the random things we needed at the last minute. Everyone did it with a smile. Thank you.

The breakfast was good, but the room itself was awful. We stay at Best Westerns around the country, and this was easily the worst one. The bed was rock hard, the pillows were so thin I couldn’t sleep on them, and the TV was tiny. The windows sounded like they were open, though they don’t open. I asked the front desk for another pillow and was told they had none.

I’d booked a king room with a jacuzzi, but this is what I walked into. When I spoke to the front desk, management tried to move me to a smaller room without a jacuzzi for the same price.
