The Pines Cottages

This is going to be our regular place in Asheville. It was our first visit, and our first time traveling with our dog, so we were nervous and hoping for a lovely way to welcome 2026. Allen, owner of the cottages, his wife Karen, and the staff made it a trip we'll remember. Rebbeca was outstanding, attentive, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond. Allen helped us with the cottage, suggested local places to visit and things to see, and kindly let us check in early since we were arriving from out of state with a companion animal. The cottages are spectacular and the grounds are immaculate. We loved the stay so much that we've already booked another visit for early spring and plan to keep coming back. This place will hold a lot of memories for us. We're so glad we found this hidden gem. Thanks, we're looking forward to seeing you again, Nick, Dina and Copper.

We first stayed at the Pines Cottages for a month between March and April while I was doing yoga training in Asheville. I loved being only eight minutes from the downtown studio and about 15 minutes from just about everywhere else. My husband and I returned with our two fur babies for our anniversary and stayed in our favorite, cottage 13. They left us a bottle of wine and a card with anniversary wishes. It feels quaint and homey, and we'll be back.

These are nice vintage 1929's cabins, with a fireplace, high bed, kitchen, little front porch and a parking spot for each one. They're between a highway and a frontage road, but it's still pretty quiet. Plenty of grassy space for your dawgs. Just watch out for the potholes at the entrance.

A lovely find just outside Asheville. The cottages each have their own character, the grounds are immaculate, and everything was very clean. Restaurants are close by.
