The room was clean and comfortable, with a full-size fridge and microwave, and there were outdoor tables for warm days. We booked because we needed shelter from a storm and arrived early in the evening. The owner had food from their Chinese restaurant in South Lake Tahoe, Hunan Garden, ready for guests. It was delicious, and such a thoughtful help since we didn't have to drive out to eat. I'm not sure whether they do that every day, but there were also plenty of free snacks, coffee, and tea. We hadn't expected much from the room, so we were really pleased, especially by how kind the owners were. Glad we found this place near Kirkwood. We'll be back.

Fast Wi-Fi, too. Check-in was easy, and the rooms were super clean. The beds were really comfortable, and I love the retro microwave and refrigerator.

After a tiring day outside, you can sit on the bench and enjoy the nature around you. The owner is very gracious and has lots of breakfast options. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a fridge and microwave. It's a lovely place to stay, well located for hiking, cycling, or snow sports. I'll come back next time I'm in the area.

A great road trip stop. The owner is friendly, and the free breakfast has a wide range of options. Each charming room has its own thoughtful decor and custom wood furniture. The mattresses are comfortable, and there are lots of blankets to make the stay cozy.

The inn is really cozy, and I love the complimentary snacks. The internet was so slow, though, I couldn't even watch Netflix on the TV.
