The Mason Boutique Hotel

A classy little hotel, with a beautiful room, comfortable mattress, and convenient location. I loved the coffee bar and breakfast pastries, and it’s such a relief to have a clean, comfortable place to stay when visiting my dad in Louisville. The one drawback is being right beside the town traffic light. Trucks get very loud very early. I’m an early bird, so it didn’t bother me personally, but if you like sleeping in, bring earplugs. I’ll definitely be back. I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed here for my sister’s funeral, and it was just my son and us in the hotel. It’s a beautiful place, reasonably priced, and the spacious rooms take you back in time. A very different kind of hotel.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I’ve enjoyed my stay enough to make an exception. The hotel is beautiful and a great price, with really friendly, helpful staff. They have complimentary snacks all day and pastries at breakfast. It’s in a cute, quaint part of town.

Booking was easy and they provided plenty of instructions. The room and bed were very comfortable, and the complimentary snacks and breakfast items were appreciated. They also leave earplugs and eye masks in case street noise or lights bother you. All the rooms use one central HVAC thermostat instead of individual controls. It was plenty cool, and they provide an extra blanket if you need one. I get cold easily, so I was glad to have it. The price compares well with highly rated major hotels in Philadelphia, and the stay is definitely worth it.
