Best Western Shadow Inn

We’ve stayed here twice and give it five stars across the board. Shelly the manager and Bryan the receptionist went above and beyond, and as someone who used to work in hospitality, I think these folks are a shining example. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, the service was outstanding, and breakfast was real breakfast. It’s dog friendly and felt very safe too. Thank you!

We left after three days of the same problems and empty promises. During our four-day stay, our room was never cleaned. It had only half its power when we arrived, so we were moved to a smaller room that had power. On the first day, our keys stopped working and nobody serviced the room. When we reported it, we got new keys and were told it would be cleaned the next day. It wasn’t. We told the front office again and heard the same promise, but still had no towels, coffee, or service. By day three, we decided to leave. The guy at the front desk was kind and apologized, but nothing changed. I’ve never had a worse hotel stay and can’t see how they stay in business.

The parking was a concern with all our luggage, but they have a private lot surrounded by a fence. The receptionist said the lobby has live cameras on the lot and security. The rooms were excellent, really clean, and smelled nice, and the area was very quiet. Breakfast wasn’t great, though there was juice, coffee, and so on.

The breakfast was good, and the reception area where it’s served was super clean. The clerks were friendly, but the manager never returned my calls after I had a checkout issue. I left without being checked out because they said they’d take care of everything. Now I’m still trying to get my money back after being billed even though I’d paid in full.
