Sands of Time Motor Inn & Harbor House

Being back at this historic Inn as an adult brought back a lot of memories from childhood visits to the Cape. The place is well cared for, and the view is hard to beat. The staff are warm and friendly, and a few of our favorite places to eat and Nobska Beach are just a short walk away. I like supporting family-run businesses, and you can tell they put their heart into it. We'll be back!

The people here made our stay. Angie welcomed us like family when we arrived, and the owners and staff were kind, attentive, and ready to help. Becky even helped me find a reputable mechanic when my car had brake trouble. Our room had lovely ocean views, and the hotel has a charming feel, from the cozy decor to the thoughtful amenities. We also loved the outdoor pool, especially for cooling off and relaxing in the sun after a hot day exploring. You can see the care in the details. We left happy and grateful, and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape.

Woods Hole is small, but the waterfront bakeries, shops, and restaurants are lovely, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution gives the village a character you don't find just anywhere on the Cape. Sands of Time is a very short walk from both the village and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. The Inn feels like a comfortable family Cape house you've been visiting for generations. It's immaculately clean, with a nice outdoor pool. The family owners are right there to give guests a warm welcome, and the staff are extremely accommodating. Just a great place.

The owners and managers made my wife and me feel like we'd been staying there for years. The views were spectacular, and both the room and location were just right for our visit to Woods Hole. We can't thank them enough, and we'll be back next time we're in town.
