The pool was closed because of an accident, though I don't know what happened. It wasn't the end of the world, but my six-year-old and I had been looking forward to swimming, so it was disappointing. We probably won't return, and I'm bummed I paid for this stay. I expected a budget, no-frills hotel. The receptionist was friendly, though clearly stressed. Our first room had no running water. We'd already unpacked, so switching rooms meant packing everything back up, and the employee looked flustered about having to move us.

For two days in a row I was given a room that wasn't clean. Room 306 had cockroaches, one in the bathroom and four behind the wall mirror. This place isn't clean. Be careful. Definitely my last stay.

The hallway smell is nasty and unbearable, and we've really struggled with it during our stay. Thankfully, it doesn't get into the room itself, which is nice and clean.

The staff were very helpful, the location was good, and the pool was nice. Our first room had a broken AC, so the woman at the front desk, who was so sweet, moved us to another room and personally brought the keys up. The rooms were decent, and it's a good place to rest while traveling.

For the price, this felt like pretty good value. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and the shower was hot. The woman at reception was friendly when we checked in. I'd recently paid the same amount for a place that was nowhere near as nice. If you want a decent, reasonably priced stay in St Charles County, this place works.
