Super 8 Woodstock

The staff were nice and the location was convenient, but the mildew and wet-dog stink in the hallways was overwhelming. My non-smoking room smelled of smoke, and there were dead bugs on the bedspread. The toilet seat and tank were loose. This is close to the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

There were strange smells throughout the building, and the laundry room smelled like burnt food. Renovations meant hours of loud banging and other noise during my stay. I asked them not to clean my room, but each time I went out and came back, they’d been in and cleaned it. That was super annoying. The ice machine quit working on my last night, and the front desk guy had a bit of an attitude.

Getting to the hotel from the main road was easy. The rooms were very clean, I was served promptly at the counter, and there was hot coffee in the morning.

After one night, I ended up with multiple bed bug bites. Now I have to disinfect my car, clothes, and all my belongings, which is a major headache. Don’t stay here. It’s disgusting, and they definitely have bed bugs.
