Motel 6 Woodway, TX

The room was big with lots of space, the location was near food and town, and the front desk was nice. But a cockroach ran across the floor as soon as I walked in. The walls looked dingy and the beds were lousy. I travel a lot and have never been in such a bare, gross room. Mine had no dresser, chair, or table. It has potential, but it wasn't worth the $61 a night I paid. It felt more like a $39 motel, and the place is run like a slum apartment.

I spent three months here with my cat. The staff were very nice, and the hotel is pet-friendly. Rooms are large and spacious, and mine had a walk-in shower. They're quick to fix anything that needs attention in the rooms. There are a couple of picnic tables outside if you want to use them. The price is the best in this area. Highly recommend.

The rooms are spacious and the location isn't bad. I've stayed here before without problems, and although lots of people reported roaches, I never had that issue. It's a motel, so seeing one wouldn't have surprised me. The real problem was a maid coming into our room while we were asleep without knocking. She kept apologizing and saying some bullshit, but seemed mad. Maids usually knock. After that, I felt completely uncomfortable and worried they might try to steal something. We cleaned the room ourselves because the maids seemed sketchy.

A clean, basic room and a good no-frills stay. I was short on toiletries, but didn't ask for more since I had my own. When I locked myself out, the attendant happily made another key. The drink machine only took bills, and he was happy to trade my quarters for a dollar. No complaints from me.
