We came for a quick stay, and the room was a mess. The bathroom towels were stained and dirty, one bed had brown stains, and there was a cockroach at the tucked-in end of the other bed, where I was lying. I suspect there may be bed bugs, and I’m surprised this place is still open. The floors were dirty, the walls had holes, the fridge didn’t work, and the TV and lights only worked some of the time. Staff and other customers blared loud music for hours, and the room shook from the floor up. I know it’s cheap, but don’t stay here. You might take bugs home.

The location is good, but you couldn’t pay me to stay here again. The place feels creepy and definitely isn’t kid-friendly, with full-time residents and facilities that are extremely dated. Some doorknobs were loose, and some doors didn’t even lock. The tub and toilet were yellow, and flushing the toilet seemed to take forever. The advertised continental breakfast was misleading. There was only coffee and orange juice, and my daughter’s cup of juice had flies in it, so we went to McDonald’s across the road. The hotel needs an exterminator too. I’m pretty sure I heard mice scratching in the walls overnight. Do NOT stay here!

We had an emergency, but the hotel wouldn’t work with us or cancel our booked room. We called at 4:15 p.m., after their 4 p.m. cutoff. That’s terrible service. This place isn’t military-friendly, and I don’t recommend it. Read the other reviews about the conditions. NOT A GOOD LOCATION.

My wife, sons, and I stayed here for three months while we tried to buy a home. Owner Sam and his staff are great people who made the long stay feel more welcoming. They were excited when we finally found our house and congratulated us. The rooms are probably the least expensive in town. If you need to stay in Wooster, they’re very good people.

The customer service was amazing, and the room was clean. It was a bit dated, though, and the bed and pillow left a lot to be desired. The TV had a few good channels, and the AC worked great. Not the worst place to stay, but bring your own pillow.
