Hilton Garden Inn Worcester

The front desk staff were helpful, but the housekeepers either didn’t speak any English or were rude. The bed was fine, though the pillows were nowhere near firm. The shower was bad: no water pressure, and the temperature swung between too hot and too cold. I also dislike curtain showers, though that part is personal preference. There’s a mediocre but convenient restaurant attached, and the hotel allows large non service dogs. As someone allergic and cynophobic, I wouldn’t choose it if that’s a concern for you. I’d return only because it’s across the street from why I come to Worcester each year, and it’s still an upgrade from where I stayed last year.

It’s convenient to have UNO's attached, but meals there can’t be charged to your room, so you miss out on Hilton honors points. The location is great, and I’ll come back after a renovation. The lobby and halls seem okay, though worn. Inside the room, the decor is gaudy and outdated, and the bed felt old and uncomfortable. The wall pictures look updated, but the rest feels like an old school motel that hasn’t been refreshed. The TV turned on, but every channel was offline. Breakfast was unlike other HGI's I’ve visited. The meats were dried out, the eggs overcooked, and fresh cooked eggs were only available from the a la carte menu, on top of paying for the buffet. This hotel is past its prime and needs an update.

Katlynn, I hope I’ve spelled that right, was incredibly professional, courteous, and helpful. I had to change hotels because of a cleanliness issue, and she made sure my stay here would be stress-free and just right. The peace of mind meant a lot. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you VERY much!

The front desk didn’t explain how to get to my room, so I had to go up to my floor and come back down with all my luggage. That was my only complaint. Otherwise, everything was great: the hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable, and had lots of amenities.
