The Fiddlehead Inn

The location was so peaceful, and we really enjoyed our stay at “The Goldenrod Country Inn”. Eric and Aaron were wonderful hosts, accommodating our dietary needs, and the breakfast food was delicious. The tavern meal was excellent, with outstanding service. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We look forward to coming back.

Our room was beautifully decorated and squeaky clean, with fresh cut flowers on the table. The bed was soft and plush, and so were the towels. There's a cute shared sitting area outside the rooms where they set out breakfast. The place is so pretty, and the innkeeper and staff were the absolute sweetest. My partner and I felt safe and welcome. We couldn't make it to dinner at the tavern because of our own schedule, though it looked popular. On our last morning they treated us to complimentary brunch there, and it was delicious. We'll definitely come back.

We held a milestone birthday party for my son, and my husband and I, along with the family and friends who came, were all very pleased with the whole experience. Everyone had compliments. The owners and staff were accommodating, flexible, professional, and friendly. There was a great atmosphere, the chef's food was excellent, and the rates for all the services were reasonable. I'd highly recommend this place for any occasion. You won't be disappointed.

Eric and Aaron were welcoming, attentive hosts, and breakfast each morning was lovely. They made a veggie frittata and home made scones. We also had two dinners in the Tavern, both amazing, and one had live music. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the fresh baked cookies they left on Friday afternoon were a really nice welcome. We had an amazing weekend stay, with two nearby hikes to waterfalls and the natural beauty of the area to enjoy. We'll definitely put this on our list for a return visit!
