For what they charge, this little hotel is hard to beat. I've paid almost three times as much elsewhere and gotten worse service and rooms. The rooms here were really nice, and the staff were very friendly.

Everything else was great, and the woman at the front desk was awesome about moving me to a much better room. In Room 222, I kept catching a smell of urine on one bed, so I switched to the other and could still smell it. When I leaned closer, it was definitely urine.

The roaches were why we eventually left. They started showing up about eight days into our stay, and I wasn't about to get used to them. The wipes in my photos show the state of the “clean room” we were given at check-in. The rooms are spacious and look clean at first, but the floors weren't mopped and nobody swept under the beds. Dusting was only done on the fronts of things, so anyone with allergies will need to clean for themselves. They also left dirty towels in the bathroom for us to use. The maid even left a card encouraging tips. We never got to use the kitchen. It was so grimy that by the time we cleaned it, we were too disgusted to cook there.

I paid almost $700 for a week, and it wasn't remotely worth it. The bathtub and bathroom sink wouldn't drain, and none of the burners on the countertop stove worked. One staff member had no idea how to do anything. Housekeeping was supposed to come after 14 days, but never did. The man at the front desk was rude and abrupt with customers, and didn't seem to have much people sense. The money felt thrown away.
