SpringHill Suites by Marriott Wrentham Plainville

We had a few afterparties at the bar, and the bartender was outstanding. My son just got married in the Wrentham area, so we booked several rooms here. The front desk team, especially Lisa, provided great service, including arranging early check-in for guests traveling from far away who had to reach the venue before sundown. The employees go above and beyond for a great stay. I'd recommend this hotel for a wedding or any trip to the area.

We travel a lot for our business, and booking a room with Casey Campbell at the Plainville location was a pleasure. We were greeted and checked in with respect and real enthusiasm. The room was spacious and contemporary, and even set to a perfect temperature. I'd highly recommend this hotel whether you're local or traveling with family, friends, or business associates.

The location's convenient, the breakfast is solid, and there's a nice sports bar down the hill. Management and the F&B staff are engaged, but housekeeping and maintenance need attention. There were broken tiles, sticking doors, stains, and other details that need work. Housekeeping was the biggest issue. I asked at 5 p.m. on day two why my room hadn't been cleaned, and was told service is every other day. I said I could wait if it meant getting a proper cleaning. The housekeeper came at 4 p.m. the next day while I was out at a meeting. I only needed the counters and floors wiped, the toilet cleaned, and the trash taken out. Instead, the bed was made, but the pizza sauce, dirty toilet, ironing board in the middle of the room, trash, fruit flies, and dirty glasses were all left there. When I called, they said the second-day service is only a “light” cleaning. If I'd known housekeeping was self-serve, I'd have chosen somewhere else for our team. Decent isn't what the brand promises. I need a bit more.

I dropped off a guest's delivery order on the evening of 3/5, as deliveries were supposed to be left at the front desk. When the girl came out, she rolled her eyes, sighed, and acted as if calling the room was a huge inconvenience. Very unprofessional.
