Silver Gull Motel

We've stayed at this motel at least five times and love it. The rooms have kitchenettes, free parking, balconies, and ocean views, though only the front two rooms are ocean-front because the building faces sideways. You can walk to the beach. The AC works great, the showers have really good water pressure, and the lobby has a fun coffee machine and filtered water, which is welcome since beach water never tastes very good. It's not outrageously priced, though it isn't cheap either for a beachfront spot. We save a lot by cooking in the room. Keep meals simple, since there's a stovetop and microwave but no oven, and no cutting board or sharp knives. The staff are very nice.

Silver Gull was much better than I expected. The rooms are clean, given the building's age and its multiple renovations. For a motel, the location, price, nearby options and free parking are hard to beat. Thanks for letting me check in early.

My wife and I had a great stay and will definitely come back. The location was perfect, and the front desk attendant was so helpful and kind.

The price was very good for the area, and the location was great. Having a kitchenette made it easy to manage my diet restrictions, since eating out can be hard.
