The gazebo and fire pit were a fun bonus. We were in the area for a ski weekend at saddleback and chose this place because it cost a little less than staying in Rangeley. The drive between them didn’t bother us. Our room was cute, clean, nicely decorated, and had what we needed. I’d stay here again.

The owners were quick to respond whenever we had a question or concern. The kitchenette was sweet and had everything we might need, and the beds were comfortable. With the pine-paneled walls and cozy rooms, it felt like a proper Maine north woods stay. Everything was immaculately clean.

Keith, the owner, was friendly and prompt, and the location worked well for hiking, with lots of Maine 4000 foot mountains about 10-30 minutes away. We spent the first two nights in Hut 3, which was a fun place to stay after hiking, then treated ourselves to Room 2 for the last night. The motel room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The shared lounge had a stove, fridge, couch, and more; the shared bathrooms were nice for being outdoors, though the shower cost .25 per minute. We also liked the outdoor fire pit and gazebo area. We’ll definitely be back when we’re nearby. Thanks again!

Keith was a great host. The suite had just what I wanted for a motorcycle trip, including a full fridge, coffee pot, and stove. There was also a community fire pit under the gazebo. I’d stay again, 10/10.

I’ve stayed at Mountain View before and was very pleased with it. This time, too, my room was really clean and a great value for the money. You can’t go wrong.
