Breakfast was excellent, with everything fresh and stocked, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The $5 parking charge for each vehicle really spoiled it for us. We had two rooms and two cars, so that was another $10. It feels like an obvious money grab. Why charge traveling guests to park at a hotel?

The rooms looked new and were clean, and both the pool and hot tub were nice and clean too. Breakfast stood out, with a better than average selection. Those cinnamon rolls were to die for!

A good overnight stop on a long drive. Even in this smaller rural community, the Holiday Inn has clean, high-quality rooms and friendly, courteous front desk staff. Free breakfast and an indoor pool are handy extras. Gas stations, restaurants, and other places of interest are only about 1-5 minutes away.

We paid almost $200, but there was no hot water from check-in through the next morning. The front desk said a water main had broken and that some rooms were affected. They told us the GM hadn't let them know until guests started complaining. When I asked how long it would take, I just got a shrug and 'I don't know.' We weren't offered another room or any compensation. The next morning, staff said they were working on it and acted as if we were the problem for asking for hot water. I tried to be understanding because these things happen and I know it wasn't the staff's fault, but we should have been told before being charged, or offered a room with hot water. I don't recommend this hotel.

I'm a regular Holiday Inn Express guest, and I know this is a fairly new hotel. The extra parking fee is the one thing keeping this from five stars. How else are people supposed to get here but by car? I hope management will consider including that fee in the listed price.
