At least pets are allowed. My room’s air conditioning didn’t work, the shower wasn’t clean, and I saw what I think was black mold on the shower ceiling. There was also a blood stain on one pillowcase. Breakfast had microwave breakfast sandwiches, which I like and buy at home, along with cereal, pancakes from a machine, bagels and toast, yogurt, apples and bananas, Sunny D, milk, and Hostess donut packs. There’s an outdoor pool, but it was closed until Memorial Day.

I asked for a ground-floor room because of my handicap, but ended up on the second floor since there was a party in all the lower rooms. Half the rooms were empty because they were being cleaned and painted. Our non-smoking room smelled like an ashtray, and I even found one in the dresser. The fridge didn’t work, I couldn’t find an ice machine, and the restaurant and bar were locked up. The pool was as green as the grass in my yard. Thank goodness it was only one night. I definitely won’t stay here again.

The room was clean and the stay was comfortable, though there were a few misses. They didn’t have the crib we’d requested, and at first the night staff lead didn’t seem to know what a crib was. There was someone else’s food in our fridge, and one towel was still hanging behind the door. Another towel had a stain, but the desk replaced it right away. Breakfast was what I expected.

The place was in disrepair, and the pool water was brown. My first room hadn’t been cleaned, so they moved me. The toilet in the next room wouldn’t flush, and after another move, the TV didn’t work. I asked for a refund, but they said they couldn’t give one.
