The balcony view took my breath away, and the room was huge and very nice for the price. I loved the dog chairs in the pet-friendly room. This may become an annual family tradition. I felt more at peace here than on any other vacation and wish we'd spent the whole week. Between the nearby trails, the long path beside the beach, and the ocean sounds, it's ideal for anyone who loves nature. We even found an agate on the beach. There are stores and services not too far away, but this probably isn't the spot for someone who needs lots of restaurants and activities. Sea lion caves and Newport are within driving distance. I've stayed in motels all over the country, including a few in yachats, and this one is hands down the most amazing.

We loved watching the sun set from in front of the motel each evening. The location is fantastic, and we enjoyed walking along the 804 by the water. Our room was large and spotless, with an updated bathroom that felt brand new. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. We'd return just to enjoy the ocean and town, and a winter storm would be wonderful to watch from the coziness of the room.

The Fireside is in a stunning spot, with memorable views and comfortable rooms. The rooms designated for dogs can easily accommodate canine family members, and the property offers excellent value for the money.

The sunset and fireplace made a lovely combination, and the view was probably the nicest I've had at a small motel. The rooms felt modern and were nice, and check-in staff were exceptional. I also liked that you can borrow DVDs for free. It brought back some Blockbuster nostalgia I didn't know I missed. If DVDs aren't your thing, the rooms have smart TVs too.

It was easy to feel at home here. The room was cozy, spotless, and had what I needed to unwind, including a big comfy bed. The quiet setting made for peaceful mornings and restful nights. From arrival, the welcome felt warm, and the whole stay was a comfortable, enjoyable getaway. I can't wait to repeat it. Five stars across the board!
