Home2 Suites by Hilton Yakima Airport

I travel for work every week and chose this hotel, but the check-in experience was awful. They told me I had to pay a tourist tax separately from everything else. I've stayed at several nearby hotels, and even they said something didn't seem right about it. When I questioned it, the manager said, “just get over it, welcome to Yakima pal.” I've never had a more disrespectful hotel check-in. Yakima really a tourist destination? If you have another choice, I wouldn't stay here.

I'd rate it 4.75 stars. The shower pressure is fine, but I like it stronger, and I wish there were a wand. Apart from that, nearly everything was perfect: it's a new building with a fantastic location, friendly staff, and large, clean rooms. I definitely recommend it.

I loved how dark the rooms were at night, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast came out fresh and warm, with plenty of places to walk to for other needs. The wireless charger and clock together came in handy since I forgot my charger. Everything felt perfect. I'll definitely come back.

Breakfast was better than most, and even though we'd arrived after it had closed, the staff offered to switch some equipment back on so we could get a hot meal. That was above and beyond. The room was huge, spotless, and well kept. I was incredibly impressed and would absolutely stay again.
