Blue Rock Resort

We enjoyed our first visit to the Blue Rock. The pool was in great shape and inviting, and being able to use the beach area at the sister resorts was a great perk. Our room was clean when we arrived, with no problems. We did hear the people upstairs walking around, though the thin walls people mention weren't an issue for us otherwise. The breakfast was the one small letdown. Sometimes the coffee and condiments had run out, but it didn't get in the way of a good stay.

We really enjoyed the outdoor heated pool, and every room has a view with either a patio or balcony. There's also a golf course for anyone in the family who plays. Our room was clean and fresh, and the staff were exceptional. They serve a continental breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this resort!

The $25 parking charge for people who don't book directly felt pretty cheap to me. We booked through a travel site that sent us here, and then got hit with that fee. I didn't like it. On the plus side, the people were very nice and helpful, and the clean, pleasant rooms have balconies. Blue Rock par 3 Golf course is right across the street, and it's the best par 3 course you'll ever see. Guests can use the other resorts on the Cape, so there's beach access, plus there's an outdoor pool. The restaurant isn't operating yet, and it looks like they're working on it. Breakfast is continental, mostly prepackaged muffins, breads, and a few other things. The only other problem was the water: twice it was warm enough to wash but not hot enough to enjoy a shower.

Everyone was friendly, from the front desk to the breakfast attendants, and we'd stay here again. The sliders could use updating, but the rooms are nice. We celebrated our anniversary here on the Cape, in a quiet spot with a golf course. The continental breakfast was fine.
