The room was small, though it smelled freshly cleaned, and my husband and I were welcomed with smiles when we arrived. The customer service was excellent throughout. There was coffee, but no breakfast, which was the one drawback. Even so, I’d stay again. The staff were amazing.

I was happy with my room. The linens and room were clean, and the place smelled nice. They’re still making improvements, but everyone working there was so kind and welcoming. That was refreshing, and I enjoyed my stay.

I’m glad they’re renovating, since I’m hoping to visit in the fall if they’re taking reservations again. I haven’t stayed in a few years, but back when I did, I only had a problem once. Tonya was the manager then, and she was very nice.

This little place has potential, but during the construction I was told all the amenities were closed. That means no Wi-Fi, breakfast, or pool, even though the pool isn’t part of the indoor construction. The place also isn’t streamer friendly. It’s frustrating to hear they want to become a nicer hotel while still requiring a cash deposit. They could take a credit card like most other places do.

Things seemed fine for the first five minutes. Then an older white man who works there yelled at me and my roommate as we were heading out to visit our families for the day. A friend of my roommate was coming to pick us up, but he wouldn’t listen to our explanation. The room was bad too, with old bullet holes in it. The night staff were very professional. That’s all I can say.
