Cozy blankets let me sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise in January, with an amazing view from the Shoreline Room. The team at The Viewpoint really cares that guests enjoy their stay, and it shows. The bed was so cozy, and the fireplace in the room felt magical. Don’t miss the chance to get what was the best massage of my life at their spa. This was one of our all time favorite getaways 💕

We got room #2, and seeing Nubble from the shower was surreal. The Upper Shoreside room had the oceanfront view facing Nubble Lighthouse that I knew my wife would love. It was fantastic, with modern SoCal touches, cool lighting, an electric fireplace, and comfy furniture. Trish checked us in and was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We also got great dinner and drink recommendations for their sister resorts, Stone's Throw and Lulu's. Andy at Lulu's was especially nice and fun to talk to at the bar. We’ve visited the Cape Neddick area every year for almost two decades, but this was our first time at the Viewpoint. I surprised my wife with a short two night trip to York, and she loved it. Definitely recommend this resort for a romantic getaway. Five stars!

We spent Thanksgiving in a spacious suite with a lovely ocean view and lighthouse. It was too cold to explore the grounds, though there seems to be plenty to enjoy outside in warm weather. We were quite cozy inside, with a gas fireplace warming the living room and a well equipped kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and even a washer/dryer in the bathroom. The Viewpoint's staff were welcoming, helpful, and responsive to after hours requests when needed. If you want a traditional hotel with common rooms and restaurants, you should go elsewhere. For a peaceful, scenic getaway, this was a great place.

The rooms felt cozy, and the oceanfront views were the best part of our stay. The front desk girls were kind and helpful. This felt more like an Airbnb property, with no on site amenities beyond coffee and tea in the rooms. The spa looks cute, but the hot tub and sauna didn’t get hot enough to use properly. The sauna was around 55-60 C, though maybe those facilities work better in summer.
