Villa Inn

The old guy at the front desk seemed sweet, maybe he’s an owner, but the inn itself was shockingly horrid. It’s right next to the freeway, and the old buildings look like they’re barely standing. Some things have been renovated, like the bathrooms and newer appliances, but that doesn’t change what the place really is. The rooms had an overwhelming mildew smell, though I couldn’t tell if it came from the walls, the carpet, or both. With all the condition issues, save your $128 and stay anywhere else. A real never again.

The lady must be the owner. She followed a 71 year old lady on camera to see if she was smoking on the property. The place is too over the edge about not wanting vapor or smoking there. California in general doesn’t want cannabis smokers anywhere. Is this reverse anti smoking laws? This is sounding like intolerance, or what are you doing that I don’t like? Good luck with this behavior. God bless you✝️

Breakfast had hot waffles and pastries, and the bed was comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It was nicely renovated and clean, with a vanity area outside the bathroom where I could sit and do my hair and makeup. I’d definitely stay here again.

The inn is next to the highway, and the noise level was very high. Inside, the rooms had a strong odor, the chairs were really dirty, and the sheets looked old and unclean.
