The peaceful location made it easy to explore nearby attractions, and the stay had a nice balance of relaxing and getting out to do things. Dole was so friendly and gave us good suggestions for local restaurants and activities. Our room was spotless, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a real treat each morning, with fresh fruit and coffee, homemade pastries, and eggs cooked just right. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome made us feel at home. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely bed and breakfast, and I’ll definitely be back.

Dole was wonderful! The rooms are large, very clean, and nicely updated. Such a beautiful B&B. If you're headed to York Maine, I highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it.

We loved how quiet the setting was, just a few blocks from York Harbor, and it's only a short walk down to the harbor. The grounds are beautifully kept, and inside there's a library among the lovely sitting areas. Our room was very large, bathroom included. Dole goes out of her way to see that guests have what they need. Breakfast each morning was delicious. It's a fantastic historic inn with beautiful rooms, and we'd happily stay here again.

The lower common rooms and lobby feel ultra luxurious, and staying there felt like being an honored guest in a millionaire's vintage home. The owners are really nice and attentive, and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and complete, with an authentic feel rather than a continental spread. The spacious rooms are top notch, exceptionally clean, secluded, and quiet, with no noisy kids. It was much better value than most places nearby.
