The Lavender Inn was quiet and calm, and we loved having a private patio. If you enjoy reading outside in the sun, you’d like it here. My mom and I had a pleasant stay in a clean, sun-filled room, and the staff were thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast was fresh, homemade, and plentiful. You could tell the owners take pride in their guests’ experience. It’s a very walkable area and close to French Laundry. I’d love to return with my fiancé. One thing to know about Yountville is that unplanned power outages can happen. Energy companies are required to shut power off proactively during heat or high winds to prevent fires. It happened in the middle of the night for me, so it wasn’t an issue, but keep it in mind if you have equipment that needs electricity or medicine that needs to stay cold. It was a wonderful visit, and I hope to come back to The Lavender Inn and try their other properties too.

We loved the room’s warm, inviting decor and the friendly welcome at check-in. It’s in a perfect spot near all the best restaurants. We had a really pleasant weekend here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Yountville.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We also had a fantastic breakfast, exceptional service, and great food and wine recommendations from the front desk. This is the best bed and breakfast or boutique motel we’ve ever stayed in. We’ll definitely be back many times.

Downtown Yountville is an easy walk away, so we could get to most restaurants on foot. For winery visits, I’d suggest planning 2-3 tastings a day to avoid the stress of driving from one to another. We really appreciated the included breakfast before a 9 am wine tasting. There was a good variety, including vegetarian and vegan choices. The early-evening wine and cheese hour and the nightcap were delicious, such a thoughtful idea. Our cottage-style room was pretty, cozy, quiet, and clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. The only small hassle was the high-quality coffee machine in the room. It took us a while to figure out which way the pods went.

Everyone working here was helpful and accommodating, and breakfast was great. The evening wine and cheese by the fireplace was hard to beat. This little boutique hotel is super cozy and within walking distance of everything in Yountville. I couldn’t have been happier with my short stay and only wish I could have stayed much longer.
